Dating Portraits | Pictures for online dating
For the privacy of those that have come to us for help enhancing their personal lives, we do not post online dating pictures.
We invite you to look around our website to see the quality of images we produce. No one in the country shoots people like we do!
Dating site and Facebook pictures can have a dramatic impact on who you'll meet!
It's not about looking like a model, or creating an exaggerated persona. It's about looking your best and telling your story with images that captivates the viewer and makes them want to meet you.
As one of the nation's leading editorial photo-journalists this is something we know how to do. It's an art form, and it becomes your first impression.
What images work for online dating?
You do NOT want more than one picture that was obviously taken by a professional photographer. You do want images that show you at your best. Producing such images is not just something we are very good at. It's also something we love to do. We create images that appear candid, but make you look your very best.
We offer ranges from a few studio pictures all the way to a "day in your life". Series of location images showing you doing things you love to do in settings that make the viewer imagine themselves with you. When we create multiple images we have you change your look (clothes) and we change the style of the actual image to make the collection appear to have been shot over time. It's the ultimate way to enhance an online dating profile and maximize your choices for potential dates.
How many images do you need in your dating profile?
According to studies, you should not have less than 4 images in an online dating profile. The most successful profiles have 8 or more images.
We suggest a strong avatar (your main image) and this is the only image that should look like it was shot by a professional photographer. It gets attention in the sea of images that get reviewed by those searching and that's exactly the first thing you need to happen.
In a perfect world you'd have 8 more images we can take for you supplemented by a few of your favorite snapshots. Of course you can do with less, but according to eHarmony's published 2013 statistics, you start to get credibility around 4 photos and continue to build that cred up to about 12.
Types of images you should never use
- Pictures in group shots
- Pictures of you with a celebrity
- Pictures of you with sunglasses (Eyes are a window to the soul right?)
- Pictures with people cut or blocked out of the image (People really do this)
- Pictures not lit well, or that are blurry no matter how good you look in them (What are you hiding?)
- Pictures you're small in, even if cropped tight (You lose impact)
How much will this cost?
Already putting a price on love? We understand. Everyone has budget constraints and we can work with most of them.
We customize every shoot for each individual and do so after we interview you. Shoots range between $500 and $3000+. Contact us for a custom quote and concept.
