You may remember Brooke from some of her previous accomplishments we’ve crowed about. Now, one of our favorite models from our CAT-Shoots has landed a slew of new roles including hosting her own morning show on FOX in Salt Lake City, and as one of the stars of USA Network’s new reality series, Summer Camp, premiering July 11th where teams compete for a $250,000 grand prize.
Before we continue gushing, here’s some history and how we came to know Brooke……
As a teenager Brooke had what anyone would call a successful modeling career walking at Fashion Weeks (including Paris and Milan) and doing numerous print campaigns. Impressed? So were we, however, Brooke’s sights were really set on broadcasting.
While modeling she continued her education. At 21, fresh from getting her degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Utah she came to us for a CAT-Shoot to get images more suitable for commercial work and acting. She actually did two CAT-Shoots about 6 months apart; one with a FHM Test that landed her an expense paid location shoot at a Caesar’s Entertainment resort for FHM, and another more commercially oriented.
Late in 2012, through one of our castings Brooke came very close to landing a spot on Model Employee and left a strong impression with Pamela Frazier who was casting the show for VH1. When Pam got the job to cast Summer Camp, Brooke was already on her short list. In the meantime, Brooke had already started hosting Wasatch 360, a local morning news show in Salt Lake City while also continuing to work as a commercial model in Southern California and Utah.
Brooke faithfully submits to all our castings, keeps her book fresh, and while we can’t say what it is, we think you’ll soon be seeing Brooke on an even grander scale soon. Here’s an unsolicited sentence from her email when she told us that she got the USA gig: “Thank you so much Laurens for everything! I never would have had this opportunity if it wasn’t for you, your castings and pictures! “ (We had to put that in).
